Israelite – the hangover is yet not over ⇒ Kirno Sohochari

Israelite likely the strange accost who takes the longest experience of displacement in human history. Biblical reference recites their 40 years long exodus from Egypt. The mass displacement once started from Egypt and ended in the Nebo mountain of Jordan. Nebo actually placed in the near border of Palestine. Reference said Palestine was a part of the large expansion and called by Phoenicia at that time. Phoenicia actually means the vast region of today’s Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Israel. Biblical reference also mean it Canaan and the occupier of this land as Canaanite.

The strange migration from Egypt to Phoenicia region mainly led by Moses. He provoked Israelite that almighty lord selected him to guide them in the right direction. Israelite lost their past day’s pride; they forget that they are the blessed ancestor of Abraham. Almighty lord once made a promise to Abraham that he will give him a new land for permanent settlement. History told death captured Abraham before he reached in the Promised Land. Now the almighty lord sends Moses to guide Israelite so that they can find the Promised Land and freed them to the slavery.

… The Jewish community marked Israel a heaven for them in today’s hostile world. Israelite in all over the world treats this land their heavenly child who deserve caring. They don’t hesitate to take one-sighted eyes for caring this child. Israelite strangely still marked them self-sufficing when they are talking about Israel. The world’s access is prohibited in this barbed wire world.
… … …

Moses plants a new dream in Israelite’s mind. His brave step made him their leader. This leadership appeared crucial for Israelite at that time. He helped them to regain confidence which they lost just within the few years of land settlement in Egypt. They were forced to live a miserable life as slave laborer under Pharaoh regime. Moses inspired them escaped from Egypt by any means. His incitement motivated Israelite to believe this: Abraham’s ancestor can build their own fate if they disowned their present status in Pharaoh’s regime. This hardship journey soon came out with a debut of the nation who still believes they are the chosen community among all other ethnic groups in the Arab peninsula.

Later history tagged this nation to the longest turnaround battle of distrust and deportation with other ethnic and religious groups. The word Jewry perhaps born to take care the aerial dream that they are blessed and committed to own the Promised Land at any cost; so they might have right to think them unique in the entire humankind. Yes, Jacob’s ancestors still reeling around the fence with ethereal anesthesia that they are the legitimate possessors of the Promised Land. This commitment has legalized through the prophethood. Because they believe, revelations of Old Testament permit them to possess the Promised Land by any means

This sedation makes Moses’ followers stubborn and contrary. They never settle them in a place afterward the exodus from Egypt; as well as, never think to settle down in the lonely bank of river or mountain. Israelite is maybe the unique self-centered race in human history. They never tolerate other’s entrance in the Promised Land; which they think preserved for the follower of Moses and only they could deserve entrance in this dreamland.

An Israelite is not for amity because he regards himself beyond over the amity. He actually doesn’t bother it. His long inhabitation in Egypt proved abortive to convert him into the Egyptian. He confined his mind into the shell, i.e., —being a refugee is better rather than sacrificed his Jewish identity under the cruel circumstances. He was the displaced and despised community in Europe even a few hundred years ago, was habitual to live there with isolation and separation and usual in the Ghetto-life to regard himself insecure or threatened by the enmity of other Semitic claimers.

However, he never lost his hope to possess the Promised Land again. Israelite is uncompromised to get this. This surprising community is unwilling to share the land with other population; even they are not ready to share it with the Palestinians who might have ancestral right and possession living in this land with Israelite. The ancestor of Jacob is forever stubborn to make his aerial dream true.

… Sad, but leaders of Israelite are narcissus. Jewish priests count others according to their own suffering. They think other human races hate Jewish because the amorphous God has chosen them as a preserver of true scripture and prophethood. They think Mount Sinai or Gabal Musa is their own property; other claimants have stolen it from the Jews scriptures, and they cannot tolerate Jewish due to the shameful act they have done before.
… … …

Moses’ Promised Land was not desolate. Other ethnic groups were live there. Israelite never hesitates to evict them. He was per se the refugee and now makes his enemies the same. It not likely came out or outburst through Moses. His followers did this according to their own contrivance. Israelite not just follows Moses’ commandments; they launch their own laws if they think it is necessary for them. Moses was busy to engrave the “Ten Commandments” during his days of disappearance in the Sinai vale. He engraved the commandments in the stone. Anyway, it maybe not means Torah. Torah is the mountainous history of five scriptures. It is the story of Israelite that how they convert their identity as a separate ethnic tribe among other Israelite.

Ten Commandments are different in that contextual. It might be the essence of Torah. And as well the genealogical summary of the tribe who later marked him Jew among all other inhabitants in the Canaan. Jew people read the commandments but rarely subjected them to the ethical dictum. A piece of Egypt might always peep out in his mind beyond over the Moses’ commandments. The Jewish citizen of Israel and all over the world do not forget the downfallen days under the Pharaoh regime. Once they got honor as an immigrated resident when Joseph was alive with his influence in Egyptian kingdom

The Pharaoh Kings welcomed Joseph for his intelligence and magical contributions; since his contribution save the country from unexpected famine and turmoil. The Jewish land settlement in Egypt mainly happened in that era, but the community lost their well-regarded position in the Egyptian society when Joseph died. Later Pharaohs treated them as an essential slave laborer of the kingdom. The entire community then falls down to live a degraded and despised life in the ghetto. It was humiliating for them who once well-regarded by the former king of Egypt. Israelite’s fate is strange in that sense. They tolerate disgrace but never forgets: the same Egyptians people insult them as slave laborer just afterward Joseph; or when fate forced them inhabited in the Europe where Europeans are habitual mean them the cleverest moneylender Shylock

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)
1. “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

3. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

6. “You shall not murder.

7. “You shall not commit adultery.

8. “You shall not steal.

9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” [Source: The Ten Commandments.org]

It’s true Israelite has a great history of intelligence and wisdom. They know how to make the business profitable. The followers of Ten Commandments know which way is helpful to survive in the most adverse situation. Contrary, they are reluctant to know how to make adaptation with other population when fate forced them to live minority’s life under the strong majority of their historical enemies in Europe, Middle Eastern or elsewhere. The self-analgesic pride and prejudice forced them to think they are blessed but almighty lord cursed them to bear the suffering; because they are exceptional among all other nations He sent for humankind. They are the direct heredity of Abraham and rest suppose Christian and Muslim are fake claimers; —the Jewish community yet like to enroll them in this mythical dilemma; it prevents them to make a peaceful settlement with other interest groups.

… Majority Jewish now regards their Promised Land only for themselves. They are now avid to repeat the mistake by treated Palestinians an unwanted resident for this land… For why? The answer is maybe this: Jew has its own place where he can live forever. This desire tagged Israelite to the mythical concealment that they need a Promised Land because once they made an exodus to get this. They need it as because only this land can save them from the future adversity if it repeats perchance like the nightmare of Jewish extermination from Europe.
… … …

Maybe it sounds absurd but the majority Jew believes other people hate them. Egyptians once insult them and later on Europeans have stated them abhorrent when the Jewish settlement happened there. They believe the trend continued even in today. This mindset makes Jew people sensitive; to the contrary, it played pivotal role isolating a Jewish to his Semitic neighbors. When he looked through the history or judged his identity by following the Old Testament a pain instantly hunt him; i.e., he feels his Promised Land deceived him over again; in where the eviction or banishment of Jew people appeared a normal event to the world.

A Jewish then see him puzzled by the astonishment that the key of his dreamland often slipped to his hand; from this moment he makes all other his enemy to rescue the fabled dream that Lord Jehovah once committed giving him the Promised Land for permanent settlement. This shady desire has driven him takes the offensive and conservative attitude to the world, especially to his Semitic neighbors. Reasonable, rest others as well treat him their born-enemy.

The Twelve Tribes of Israel

“The Tribes of Israel are the traditional divisions of the ancient Jewish people. Biblical tradition holds that the twleve tribes of Israel are descended from the sons and grandsons of the Jewish forefather Jacob and are called “Israel” from Jacob’s name given to him by God. The twelve tribes are as follows: Reuben, Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh.

The story of the twelve tribes begins when Jacob and his family went down to Egypt as “70 souls” In Egypt “the Israelites were fertile and prolific; they multiplied and increased very greatly,” and there they became the “Israelite people.” Following the death of Joseph – one of Jacob’s sons who had become viceroy of Egypt – Pharoah oppressed the Israelites by placing upon them burdensome labor.” [Source: Ancient Jewish History: The Twelve Tribes of Israel: Jewish virtual library.org]

Israelite is the other name of mistake and misunderstanding. Moses helped them to find the Promised Land and they evict the other population from this land. The followers of Christ and Muhammad then evict them throughout the entire medieval period. History of the medieval and modern era is actually the history of Jewish migration from one place to another. Moses’ ancestors then traveled along hither and thither, as they once came out to Egypt and travel across between Mediterranean landscapes like a nomadic traveler. The history of human migration marked him a kicked out community who always tried to save his ethnic identity through isolation and separation. A Jew is the other name of dilemma that he is under-examined by Jehovah due to his exceptional ethnicity.

This maladjustment makes him distant to the others. Israelite might be the unique tribe in human history who always armored himself with remoteness to make him safe to the adversity history might force him to face. Once he degraded to the slave laborer life in Egypt and it made him isolated to the locality. Later he separates himself from his European neighbors through ghetto style fortress. The rich and poor Jewish lived there side-by-side, but this fortress livelihood builds a wall between the Jewish and his neighbors.

Israelite doesn’t understand neighbors; same as his neighbors cannot figure out the actual reason why he separates himself to the others. Israelite is the strange name of neighborlessness. His rulers feel discomfort to live with neighborliness and they appreciate neighborlessness. He makes his own as his neighbor. It makes Jew difficult to read, to understand the inner bleeding that he is trapped by the anesthetic dream of racial supremacy. His armor that he thinks a safeguard for his ethnic identity, contrary it makes him unfriendly to his neighbors.

Makes yourself your neighbor is not a pleasant thing. It embraced danger in excuse of safeguard. Fenced yourself to think that you are unsafe, this approach doesn’t ensure certainty that you are safe. Instead, it makes trouble. Sometimes it appeared boomerang and it has already happened in Israelite’s case. Jewry’s ghetto didn’t make them secure in Europe. The alienated citadel gave chance Adolf Hitler counts Jewish people easily for eviction. He identified and gathered them in the concentration camp and choked them to embrace fatal death in the history of war. This fatal incident helped Israelite get back to their Promised Land again but it repeats Hegel’s famous statement, i.e., “The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history”.

Majority Jewish now regards their Promised Land only for themselves. They are now avid to repeat the mistake by treated Palestinians an unwanted resident for this land. History once makes them refugee and today they are eager to apply the same treatment by pushed out Palestinians from this olive-green landscape of Israel. For why? This desire tagged Israelite to the mythical concealment that they need a Promised Land because once they made an exodus to get this. They need it as because only this land can save them from the future adversity if it repeats perchance like the nightmare of Jewish extermination from Europe.

This fragility makes Israelite more fragile and reluctant to trust and negotiate with others, suppose the Palestinians. Suchlike community never wipes out himself from the memories of eviction and holocaust. Israelite yet revolves around the perception that history punished them badly many times and now they are conscious so that the nightmare can never happen again! The fate of Jewish people yet reeled around the hangover, i.e., they are the born refugee in human history. Israelite believes: God somehow cursed Jewish people because they often forget they are the blessed nation and as well the vanguard of Judaism.

Sad, but leaders of Israelite are narcissus. Jewish priests count others according to their own suffering. Christian and Muslim mistrust and misunderstood the prolonged suffering and struggle of Mosses’ followers and misinterpret Jewish in myriad ways. Hence, it would better to avoid them. Israelite will stay in Israel at any cost and if he lives in other countries, he will live there according to his own segregation and seclusion. He will take care of himself and will take more care to armor his residence with barbed wire.
